On your arrival at Casablanca airport, you will be picked up by our team and taken to the hotel where dinner will be served.
Departure for Ouarzazate via Marrakech and the High Atlas. On your arrival in Ouarzazate, in the afternoon, you will visit the city and its famous kasbahs including that of Taourirt, the former residence of Pasha Glaoui.
Departure for the Dadès Valley and its ribbon of oases in the hollow of the mountains, setting for “a thousand kasbahs” surrounded by poplars and rose gardens: Skoura, El-Kelaà M’Gouna, Boumalne du Dadès. From there, the desert slopes of the mountain nibble away at its ribbon of greenery. But the wadi encrusts and splits thick limestone blocks, carving dizzying walls: these are the Dadès Gorges. In the afternoon, departure for Tinghir and its famous oasis of nearly a million palm trees.
About fifteen kilometers from the village of Tinghir, at the end of a valley dotted with palm groves and Berber villages, the Todgha Gorges are among the most beautiful natural sites in the country. You will be greatly impressed by this massive fault, 300 m high at its narrowest point, at the bottom of which a crystal clear river flows. It separates the High Atlas from Jebel Saghro. Continue to Erfoud.
Like nomads, here you are slaloming between the dunes on your camel to get to the camp. You will then have plenty of time to contemplate the sunset over the dune before enjoying a mint tea and a traditional tagine around a campfire. Night in the middle of the desert under the immensity of the starry sky.
Here you are now crossing the immensity of the stone desert to Alnif. After lunch, you continue your route through the Boughafer massif to arrive at the Zagora oasis. Free tour of the city. This region is the cradle of the Saadian dynasty which reigned in the 16th century and conquered Timbuktu.
Today you go back to Ouarzazate, the superb Drà¢a valley, an immense string of oases 200 km long. Thumbing its nose at the desert, nature raises its colors high: clusters of golden dates in the tops of palm trees, oleander bushes, brown, beige, gray mountains, dominating an ocher earth and, from far to far, such mirages, countless sand-colored qsours.
You will regretfully leave the South but it is to take the extraordinary “salt trail” going up the Ounilla valley, dear to Majorelle. In the magnificent site of Telouet you will visit the no less magnificent ancient kasbah of Pacha Glaoui. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon. You will tour its ramparts before returning to your riad / hotel.
Free day in Marrakech. The medina, the ancient fortified city, and numerous historic monuments of great beauty are available to you: the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Ben Youssef Medrasa... And then the typical streets and the souqs teeming with perfumes and colors. Free lunch. At the end of the day, you will undoubtedly like to take a carriage ride around the ramparts and the palm grove, to appreciate the calm after the hustle and bustle of the famous Djemaa El Fna square, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site.
You will travel to Essaouira, the ancient Portuguese Mogador, the white and blue city “well designed” for Sultan ben Abdellah by a French architect, in the 18th century. You will admire the Porte de la Marine and the Skala with its alignment of bronze cannons. You will appreciate its nonchalant charm, its whitewashed houses, its quiet squares, its welcoming terrace cafés, its old fishing port, its quality craftsmanship (tuya wood marquetry) and its... delicious fish. And the unique, cordial atmosphere that reigns in its streets where local inhabitants mingle with tourists and artists from all over the world.
Relaxing day in Essaouira. Free stroll in the narrow streets of the city or relax on the beach by the Atlantic. A peaceful and pleasant day in a true haven of peace.
Free day
Return to Casablanca.
Visit to Casablanca; the economic capital and the largest city of the kingdom, which is also one of its main ports: you will discover, among others, the United Nations Square, the Al Habous district, the Royal Palace and the large Hassan II Mosque (100 Dhs for a guided tour of the interior).
Depending on the departure time, free time then transfer to the airport.
